Description:

A fine George III mahogany veneered bracket clock on original bracket.  The ‘balloon’ style case supporting a well-cast flamed urn finial.  The bracket is with pull forward draw and historical inscriptions within.

The six inch enamel dial, with roman chapters and outer Arabic minutes, is signed beneath twelve o’clock.  The pointers are of pierced brass.

The twin fusée movement has eight day duration and hours strike sounded on a bell.  The back plate is engraved with foliate around an urn and signed to the base John Grant, London.
