Description:

A fine 19th century bracket clock in a balloon style case veneered with olive wood which has achieved an outstanding colour and patination.

The enamel dial has Roman numerals and fine brass pointers.

The circular movement has a duration of eight days with twin chain driven fusée.  The escapement is anchor and the substantial pendulum is characteristic of Jump.

The backplate is signed by the maker Jump, London.  Jump is recorded as a fine maker who succeeded to Vulliamy’s business.
